Wincomm introduces the WMT-101, a
new medical tablet that extends its healthcare computing portfolio to a
portable platform. Combining a fanless design, whole-system IP67 protection,
and integrated barcode and NFC readers, the WMT-101 supports mobile rounds,
bedside care, nursing documentation, and medical inventory workflows. It
enables healthcare teams to access information and capture data where care
takes place.
Clear Information Access in a Portable Design
Powered by the Intel® Twin Lake N150 processor, the WMT-101 features 8GB of LPDDR5 memory and 128GB of eMMC storage, with optional 256GB eMMC or 512GB UFS configurations. Windows 11 support facilitates integration with existing Windows application environments.
The 10.1-inch display offers a 1920 × 1200 resolution, a 16:10 aspect ratio, and a typical brightness of 700 nits. A full-flat projected capacitive touchscreen provides an intuitive interface for viewing and entering information. Measuring 12.7mm thick and weighing approximately 930g, the tablet includes a hand strap for convenient handling between care areas.
Integrated Data Capture for Bedside Workflows
A built-in 1D/2D barcode reader and front-facing HF-RFID (NFC) reader enable the WMT-101 to capture identification data from compatible patient wristbands, medications, and medical supplies. When integrated with hospital information systems, these capabilities can support patient identification, medication verification, and inventory tracking while reducing manual data entry.
A 5MP front camera and a 13MP autofocus rear camera support video communication and image documentation. An integrated fingerprint reader and TPM 2.0 provide device security and user authentication capabilities for system integration.
Durable, Easy-to-Clean Construction
The WMT-101 features a white enclosure with easy-wipe surfaces and no internal corners to simplify routine cleaning. Whole-system IP67 protection helps protect the device against dust and accidental exposure to water, while its fanless architecture enables quiet operation.
According to the product specifications, the WMT-101 has passed EN 60601-1 medical electrical safety requirements, with EN IEC 60601-1-2 Edition 4.1 also listed for electromagnetic compatibility. These specifications address key requirements for deployment in healthcare environments.
Flexible Connectivity and Deployment
Dual-band Wi-Fi 6 and Bluetooth® 5.2 support wireless connectivity, while optional 4G/5G modules accommodate deployments across different locations. Two USB 3.2 Type-C ports, a Micro SD card slot, and a 12-pin Pogo Pin connector, together with an optional docking station, provide flexibility for peripheral connectivity and deployment.The integrated 4,800mAh battery has a specified runtime of approximately 7.4 hours, with actual battery life varying by display brightness, connectivity, and application workload. Optional Windows 11 IoT Enterprise supports dedicated application deployment requirements.
