This new series succeeds the long-running WTPE-9E66 (Intel® 6th Gen) family, bringing major advancements in computing performance, safety certification, connectivity, and rugged design for hazardous industrial environments.

A Significant Leap Forward: From Intel® 6th Gen to Intel® 13th Gen Performance?

The new WTPE-9H66 Series is powered by energy-efficient Intel® 13th Gen Core™ i5/i7 processors (15W), delivering dramatically improved CPU capabilities compared to the previous 6th Gen architecture. With support for dual-channel DDR5 up to 64GB, the WTPE-9H66 series enables real-time control, machine vision, data acquisition, and SCADA/HMI applications with greater responsiveness and lower power consumption.

Explosion-Proof Design for Hazardous Environments

Like its predecessor, the WTPE-9H66 series is fully engineered for environments where flammable gases, vapors, or dusts may be present. The new models maintain Wincomm’s industry-leading safety certifications, now supporting:

• Class 1 Division 2 / Class 2 Division 2
• ATEX Zone 2 / Zone 22
• IECEx Certification
• IP66 / NEMA 4X total sealing for 100% water & dust protection

These rugged stainless-steel systems ensure safe and stable operation across –20°C to 60°C industrial conditions, making them ideal for oil & gas, chemical plants, distilleries, power generation, and other hazardous-location automation.

Enhanced Connectivity with EX-Certified Cable Gland & M12 Interfaces

To support installation flexibility, the WTPE-9H66 series integrates:

• M16 EX ec cable glands supporting USB, LAN, COM
• Swappable M12 EX ic connectors (USB, COM)
• Modular I/O configurations (A / B/C / D)
• Optional long-distance (50m–100m) DC power kits

All connectors are downward-facing for easy maintenance and safe cabling in explosion-risk zones.
